The laws governing private metering vary greatly from state to state, and in come cases even City to City.
If anyone has knowledge about their state laws, or can link us directly to the law, we would be happy to post that information here.
I am working through each state as we get request for information. If your state is not listed send us a email I try to post at least 1 state per month.
I am also working on “Model Legislation” that can be used by people wanting to change, or create laws governing Submetering in their state or city. I hope to have that complete by Jan 2013
